Achieve and the U.S. Education Delivery Institute have developed a practical Common Core Implementation Workbook for all states in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC).

The workbook uses a proven performance management methodology known as “delivery” to lay out clear action steps for states and districts. It provides relevant information, case stories of good practice, key questions and hands-on exercises for leadership teams to complete together. Regardless of your state's timeline, the workbook offers state and district leaders the means to plan for the CCSS and then drive successful implementation

This resource is a link to a website intended to assist state education agency personnel make decisions and implementation plans associated with moving from a paper and pencil testing environment to a computer-based testing environment. Once you enter the site information is provided about the purpose of the tool, how to create a login and password for the tool, and directions for using the tool. The link to the tool is imbedded in this online document. In addition, this site also provides an annotated bibliography regarding online assessment

To further aid states as they continue to implement the Common Core State Standards (Standards), the Hunt Institute and the Council of Chief State School Officers have commissioned a series of video vignettes that explain the Standards in far greater depth.

These videos were developed to help diverse groups – educators, policymakers, parents – better understand the breadth and depth of the Standards and how they will improve teaching, make classrooms better, create shared expectations, and cultivate lifelong learning for all students. The segments are organized into separate Mathematics and ELA sections, and demonstrate critical concepts related to each.

The content of this Collection was presented to the organizations by the Council of Chief State School Officers and the National Governorsâ? Association at a full Partnership meeting in January 2011. Following the presentation, 27 organizations, 11 states and 22 technical assistance investments worked together collaboratively and created these materials to encourage dialogue and promote understanding in the field.
