Transition for Youth with ED/BD: Competitive Job Placement and Support

Designed primarily for secondary special education staff, this online training module provides an overview of transition supports necessary for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities and explains the process of job development, placement, and support. Disability Employment 101: An Online Guide

This guide is a comprehensive analysis of hiring employees with disabilities that includes information about how to find qualified workers with disabilities, how to put disability and employment research into practice, and how to model what other businesses have done to successfully integrate individuals with disabilities into the workforce.  Among other things, the guide provides information regarding Department-funded vocational rehabilitation agencies, Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers, and Centers for Independent Living.  It also includes checklists and various other resources to aid employers as they prepare to employ people with disabilities.

Job Accommodations: Multimedia Training Library

The JAN Multimedia Training Library provides training resources for JAN's users. These materials may be used in group training or by individuals. They may easily be incorporated into larger training events.
