This page provides links to six professional development modules created by the Delaware Reading Cadre in 2001. These modules provided the foundations for current professional development based on the findings of the National Reading Panel. Users are encouraged to utilize these power point slides and note pages, along with the research and activities provided, to meet the professional development needs of their schools or districts. Six literacy modules including the following: 1) Introduction, 2) Phonemic Awareness, 3) Alphabetic Knowledge, 4) Comprehension, 5) Vocabulary Instruction, and 6) Motivation and Fluency.
